public interface IProblemResolver

A component that raises a problem, should pass a problem resolver. The system periodically requests this problem resolver to resolve the problem. The implementer of this interface should call one of the methods on the problem status event listener to indicate the status of the problem.

resolveProblem

void resolveProblem(IProblemStatusEventListener problemStatusEventListener)

The system periodically invokes this method to request resolution of the problem. The implementation of this method should use the passed problem status event listener to indicate the status of the problem. NOTE:the resolver must call back on the problem status event listener from the same thread. Passing the event listener to another thread and calling back from there will always cause a deadlock!

Parameters:

problemStatusEventListener - this listener must be informed about the problem status.
